Carrying. On!

Well this is getting boring...for which I can only apologise! Nothing much is happening here...even the cock has disappeared! Its very quiet and very beautiful out there...I have walked the bounds..and no sounds accompanied me. So coming back inside with the radio on is making me feel that everything is still OK. And I suppose it is! But the people who were staying next door seem to have gone to be replaced by several young people. It is all very strange...but I am getting used to it! I sent for another radio yesterday so thst the sounds can stay with me throughout the house. Somehow this has become important to me! I suppose because right now its all I have got! I dont feel lonely with all these people around. Though I did miss the cock yesterday! My gardener came in for his tea ...and we laughed together at our present circumstances...He has sisters and they all live together which means that that none of them is alone much. I really am fine with my solitary state and I can alway phone people though I actually dont do that much...not in order to save money but I dont want to be a nuisance....people dont need me relying on them during this strange period. I can do this! And the radio helps! It keeps me in touch with the rest of the world! In theory!

I just wish you luck, in what I consider to be a very unsettling time
still. At 83 and a widow, the thought of all this ,opening up, as they call it, seems all too much and too soon, what with this variant spreading it's wings. Just take good care of yourself, as we who are on our own, have been doing all through this awful pandemic. I do hope you have ma.net aged to sort out your new TV sets.
Best wishes, Emmy.

You are coping well and have done so through all of the recent shenanigans.

Have a Radio available throughout the house seems sensible, if it comforts you, I listen to Radio 4 a lot of the time, as I find other stations to noisy, to busy or to full of them selves. Particularly the commercial stations.

I feel that the current times are trying everyone, some more than others. Many people seem to believe that the rules don't apply to them, evidenced by the number of people walking around a supermarket this morning with a mask below their nose, and nothing being said, as the supermarkets don't like confrontations.

Hoping you have a good weekend.
