Dull!

Well...running a blog during a time when we are all supposed to stay safe at home can only get very boring. Oddly I have had a visitor from many years ago. And somone else asked to use one of my booked outings. To everyone asking I am very vague I am afraid...because I really dont want to end up with several people arriving when I am unable to provide either food or drink. I have just about enough for one person. But mostly those who are proposing a visit are prepared to cater for themselves! Its all very confusing at times but mostly I prefer to stay safely at home...on my own. A couple of friends have called in which is lovely as are the phone calls. But the bottom line for all this is that Ive got used to a solitary life now...its not a problem. In some ways its a relief that I am not responsible for anyone else. From being very busy a few days ago its now very quiet. I expect the exodus will start after the weekend. The weather has been very kind...its warm even when the sun isnt shining. Today I am expecting a couple of old friends to arrive which will be lovely but they are not expecting to stay the night..... Which suits me fine. I am becoming anti social in my old age...Im afraid...but just now it seems sensible. So staying safely dull is my best bet for the moment! I have slipped up yet again...the comment which should have appeared was from UK viewer....thank you very much! It reads ......... Jean I have never found you boring or dull, often I find you challenging, particularly when you seem anxious. So far away, so isolated but also so resilient. You find yourself unkowingly in my prayers or intecessions for those who seem to need prayers for health and well being. So if you feel it to be dull, just think of those who follow you, those who comment and those who just lurk on the blog taking in the story pf your day your day life and as you are so honest and frank can empathise with your isolted life style, some may want it for themselves,

Dull?
You?
Never EVER Jean.
You are always good to read.
Thank you for providing a lighthouse of hope in this darkness.

I really do understand your wanting to stay on your own, mainly to protect your health, as the Indian variant is so rampant and one we
elderly widows can well do without. Stay safe, even though we are
meant to be coming out of lockdown, life is certainly not yet normal,
or safe.

Good morning Jean. I totally agree with Bob! I enjoy reading your blog and find the stillness really comforting.

Hope you enjoy the visit from your old friends. I too am awaiting two old friends to arrive for coffee shortly!
And the sun is shining. Hooray!

Jean I have never found you boring or dull, often I find you challenging particularly when you seem to be struggling or anxious. so far away, so isolated or anxious but also reliant .
You find
D yourself unknowingly .So far away, so isolated but also so resilient.
You find yourself in my prayers or intercessions. For those who seem to need prayers or health or well being.
So if you feel it to be dull, just think of those who follow you, those who comment and Thor’s who just lurk on the blog taking in the story of your life day to day and as you are so honest and frank can empathise with your isolated life style, some may want it for them selves.
