Keeping Going!
Its been a strange morning. Some things I thought I had done were not done....whilst others were...My gardener has been given his tea...and we have considered what still needs to be done out there! I thought I had blogged but I find I havnt...so I am clearly going daft! I have booked my car in for its next MOT. And I have written that into my diary! The bottom line for all this is that I am getting old...but thats not news! I have been on my own here during the week...no one is staying next door at present so I was glad to find my gardener mowing the grass. I needed something normal! I have tuned my radio into a local program so that I know whats going on locally....not much as it happens! The large cock has gone missing too...I hope hes alright and not being stuffed! This is the week David and I used to fly to Madeira ...old habits die hard...its still written into the diary but although I have gone on my own in the past I really dont want to do that again right now! I stopped paying them the fee last year but they still checked to see if I was going. I am not..It all adds up to my getting older...fast. But thats OK...it means I havent died....yet!

We were talking about our holiday in Madera a couple of years ago. We presumably could travel there again if we wanted, but our plan is to stay put this year and perhaps travel to Guernsey next year. A small island, close to the UK might prove a safer bet than anything outside it.
I hope that the quietness there doesn't break you out to driving somewhere just to be out, it sounds like a jog around your garden would be a better idea.
