No TV!
Oh dear! Or words to that extent! Last night my TV would not turn off! Some of you may remember that the old TV had packed up and been replaced by this new one...It has been fine till last night when I failed to turn it off. I tried everything including turning off the signal and everything else once it had got to two in the morning! so yes, you have guessed it ...it wont turn back on this morning! Its not that I wanted to watch TV ...I just wanted to know that it was still working! Its not! So this morning I have to read everything thst came with it to see if I can get it back. My cleaner will arrive shortly and between us I am hoping her common sense will prevail! In all this mess we are all living through not having a TV is a small problem. But as I live my solitary life in peace I do enjoy seeing the various programs put out by the TV companies! I can live without it but this morning I have to try to get it right! Here we go again!

Not sure of TV's when they play up. We have reliable ones, but tend to have more problems with the Sky box. Normally it stays on as it updates over night, but on occasion, it will decide to update while we are watching and reset itself several times.
It is quite an old box, not the latest all singing and dancing version, which gives access to all sorts of new things, but increases the monthly subscription and with a two year contract for the privilege of having it. So far, we have persevered, but if the box fails, we will have to upgrade. Hopefully, not for a long time to come.
