Rules relaxing?

After my moan yesterday for which I apologise things started to get better. This morning I am fine. ... so far.... I am up and dressed and have walked the garden. All is well I am very glad to say! Nothing to moan about at all! Its very quiet outside as yet...the traffic is light and nothing much is moving! I am wearing what has become a sort of uniform. A denim skirt which can cope with what ever is thrown at it and a shirt and jumper ....all blue. Its a sort of uniform in that I have several slightly different versions of it. I have checked the paper work on my desk to be sure that all my bills have been paid. It would be much too easy to simply forget in this strange life we are living. Several people I have spoken to are getting very excited about the June relaxation of the rules put in place to try to keep the virus under control. Many of those Ive spoken to have forgotten why its being imposed. There will be huge rejoicing if it is relaxed...clearly we are missing our social interactions but they do seem to be working even though the figures released every evening remain worrying. I hope we dont all just rush about hugging each other in the newly found freedom. I might just hide. That seems safe!

Joy about the relaxation were a little premature. Now it is 19th July before people can relax, and that might even be delayed if the numbers increase.

We actually have quite a few freedoms since 19th May when we moved to Step 3, so we just need to be patient, as the rush to freedom has risks, which we need to be aware of.

We won't be relaxing just yet and perhaps not even in July. We perhaps need to learn to live with social distancing and masks and the Hand, Face and Space slogan for a while yet.
