Early morning!

Having been lying in bed listening to the radio I finally got up, drew my curtains and found my gardener beaming at me! He was trimming the hedge outside which did need it but I didnt! I got dressed quickly! I then had to check how much cash I had and fortunately found enough notes to be able to pay him! I found earlier this year that he didnt take cheques into the bank so paying him in cash became necessary! Fortunstely I can do that this morning and I will have a trimmed tidy hedge as well! So all is good here! When I invite him in for his cuppa he will tell me all the news from the village...how many visitors are here and if they are behaving well. He does not approve of the ones who spend their evenings drinking too much and then become noisy! Living a long way out of the village I havnt been down thete for a while..so I enjoy hearing his news whilst he drinks his coffee! I just got surprised whilst I was still half asleep! In most weeks the only two people I see are my cleaner and my gardener and I value thei presence even when I am half asleep! Now I am dressed and half way through my coffe I can do this! I think! And well done to those medal winners in Tokyo! Thats good news!
