Autumn break!

This is the time of the year when I used to cruise. I travelled over the world on various ships and enjoyed it all. Last year there being nothing at all going anywhere I decided my Autumn break would be best in a hotel. So I booked it. I then made the mistake of telling people about it...mostly via this blog! On the morning I was booked in I was up early, packed, ready to go when far too many people arrived to "help" me! Why they thought I would need help is still not clear! But what I got did not help at all! Chaos ensued. I was ready to go..but people insisted on "helping" I still dont know why . What I do know is that I really did not need that sort of help! I was grateful for the lift to the hotel even though I had already booked and payed for a taxi. So this year I will not talk about any future plans...I do not need "Help" of any kind. I am still capable of taking a break quietly with no fuss as and when I need it! As for people reminding me that they were there when I needed them last year perhaps they had better consider what need actually means. As I had booked my own transport to the hotel why did I need help! This year I shall consider very carefully if I am going anywhere at all. I am fine here on my own...I certainly dont need unexpected company! My oldest friend has already arrived...and he will be helpful in the business of repelling boarders if needed! No Autumn break is planned! I am aware that my saying all this will not go down well but I do want those people who " helped" last year to understand that their "help" is not needed in any way this year! Thank you all!
