Rural Cornwall!

Up much later than usual I have walked the garden in glorious sunshine. Everything out there is growing more beautiful daily. I realised afresh how fortunate I am...small irritations fade away in the face of so much beauty. I have said good morning to my sons gift of raspberry plants which look as though they will have quite a lot of fruit this year. I must take a watering can up there later! The people here are thankfully keeping their distence! So all is well. Nothing in the news is alarming or worrying down here...its difficult to feel at one with events occurring a very long way away! One of the news headlines declares..' Suprises within translucent frogs! I am not reading the article to find out! Whatever is happening to frogs can not affect me one way or another! And like the rest of us frogs deserve their privacy! The day before me has nothing to excite or depress me so far....its just another glorious day in rural Cornwall. Thank you God.

All sounds good with you on Wednesday, once again I am late to the party. I must do better.

Interesting about the Frogs, news that has passed me by, obviously your local news has a better focus on nature than the local news here.

It looks like a fine day today, I will be in church for the 10 am service than will be lunching with a friend, before picking Jen up from work.

Tomorrow is Coffee Morning and I will be there selling copies of our Parish Magazine, full of local news on church and community. For the first time in two years, I have a new Advertiser who has paid for a year of full page adverts. After a drop off in interest, this is good news. Adverts off set the cost of printing.
