Still Quiet!

Its a decidedly odd time we are all living through. All is well here but its very quiet now. I am told the village is still full but out here, well away from everywhere it is very quiet indeed. A new lot of new people have arrived next door but as yet I havnt actually seen any of them. Friends from the past are planning their visits soon...it will be good to see them all and hear their adventures. Watching the news on the TV I become aware of what actual real life has become for many of us but out here its just the same mostly. Now me and my cleaner have put the world to rights its very quiet most of the time. The new lot who arrived next door yesterday are keeping to themselves...so far... An old friend has been in touch and hopefully he will visit during the week but much depends on the weather and if the wind is blowing in the right direction for getting out to sea. Sailing people get very precious at times.. Now I dont go on boats anymore life is simple on these occasions...I simply turn down any invitations to adventure forth....and most of my friends know this perfectly well. I have once again checked my fridge....and there is no need to order anything else for a while..I am tempted to order more booze but probably wont. I have enough for the next week or so depending on how many old friends turn up. Too full a fridge would only worry them...so I could put it under the bed instead! Now that really would worry them! I am not actually bored...just learning how to deal with solitude! I can do this! I think!
