Alone!

Its feeling very odd now. And quiet! A lot of people have gone home. I have walked through the garden in silence....The odd car can be heard in the distance but its clear that we are just about back to normal here....which is good after all the cars and the people of late. Usually at this stage I decide how the next weeks will go..whether I will go off somewhere on my own...or join old friends to walk the beaches. This year I am content to simply exist! I dont need to plan anything...what ever happens now is not anything I have planned..I hope to see old friends at some point but quite alot of them have left here already...so I will just have to see. I am not planning anything much...I will take it day by day. Staying in one of our lovely hotels usually springs to mind at this stage but on the whole this year I prefer to be at home on my own..I am not lonely...I feel content! Another person turning up would not be good. ...depending on who it was of course...but mostly I prefer my own company in my own home. Its all good!
