When I go away I leave my TV to record my favourite programs to watch on my return.
This time I forgot to take some of them out....I arrived home to well over a hundred programs in the list.
So this week I have had the joy of working my way through the whole lot. Watching soaps back to back takes gritty determination...sometime I give up.
This system works well for favourites but fails miserably on things I see have been on but have missed.
Victoria is a program I've taped...and am enjoying it enormously....it also appeared on the TV in my cabin so I don't think I've missed any but I have watched a couple of them twice!
I still don't get a radio times...so there are things I miss completely....but can catch up with them on my iPad.
Getting home complete with the Cunard cough gave me the opportunity to catch up every night and I had an entire evening watching back to back Coronation street. It really has gone off!
Sometimes I just delete stuff...sometimes my TV seems to have done the job for me...
I have at least fifty programs to get through...
I can do this...and watch Strictly tonight...but not for too long...I have the eight am communion in the morning....
Back to work, cough permitting...
