World chaos!

What a world we are living in. I can’t remember a time when things just seem to get more weird daily.
May and Johnson running this country into leaving Europe on the one hand and having a battle of words with Putin on the other has taken up centre stage. . It was heartening to find our European partners backing us up this week in their condemnation of Russia.
Trumps moments of eccentricity have stopped amusing us all.....many people are seriously worried now .
Last night the Senate stayed awake long enough to pass a bill spending a huge amount of money to avoid another government shutdown.
He seems to relish annoying China whilst at the same conducting a diplomatic love affair with Putin. He rang to congratulate him on his re-election against all the advice of his government.
One security advisor was sacked this week to be replaced by another of Trumps friends.
China is ready to take on the rest of the world apparently.
The blue passport , about to return to this country is being manufactured abroad....
The ironies abound...
But the overall feeling just now is of change. Whether it’s change for good or for ill has yet to be worked out.
In between rushing around checking that all my ducks are in an orderly row the feeling of world danger persists...
Prayer for peace is essential right now for me as well as the world. Lord hear our prayer.
