Hot outside!

Glorious weather continues. A prolonged period of  wonderful sunshine has made me dig out all my summer clothes not worn for years.
I am not complaining . This weather is what I go cruising for...
But my wardrobe now consists of stuff that is far too dressy for everyday wear about the house.
The old summer clothes are now too big, too long and too revealing.
I can’t now wear clothes that show too much of my figure.
But I’m not tempted to buy new ones.
With my luck, by the time they arrive normal dull summer weather will have returned!
Meanwhile every morning involves a great deal of hunting through wardrobes....
The bottom line is that I have far too many clothes.
The cruise clothes are just too posh.
All the hems are hitting the ground so I’ve shrunk!
Wearing a dress feels far too posh for this ancient farmhouse so it’s back to denim skirts with various tee shirts mostly.
My brush with skin cancer means that I can’t sit out for very long.
Ten minutes at a time is enough so I fancy getting the sort of outfits that bee keepers wear that cover everything.
When I work in the garden I put on skin cream and only sit down in the late afternoon when the sun has lost it’s bite.
Still I am enjoying it...long may it continue...and the solar tiles must be doing quite well!
