Brexit ?

Today is quite scary.....not for me ...for the whole country...
Teresa May calling a meeting to get Brexit actually happening...sounds like a good idea until you realise her line up.....
There are just too many ambitious people desperately trying to secure their own positions in any future government.
I have a feeling that this situation has come about because of personal ambition rather than any real desire to be back in charge of our own governmental decisions.
Listening to the debates on the radio and hearing both notes of excitement and lack of any realistic forward planning that will keep this country stable I worry.
Lots of things like the Northern Ireland problem were never mentioned in the lead up to the decision. We are only just hearing of things never mentioned before the vote.
I simply don’t trust the people taking the decisions. Personal ambition is all too evident now.
Watching Prime Ministers question time yesterday there was Boris who hadn’t even bothered to run a comb through his hair and this is our Foreign Secretary?
The entire front bench did not inspire me and I suspect not many people watching.
There is a whiff of desperation combined with personal ambition that feels quite wrong prior to a time when coming to the country to persuade us all of their expertise and parliamentary skill seems necessary right now.
The outcome of today’s meeting is very important for individuals but not I believe for the country.
The general election called last summer hasn’t given any firm mandate surely....and although most of us would dread yet another trip to the polling booth it now feels like the only way through this mess we are all in.
Another opportunity to vote on this would go down quite well right now...even though it seems we are committed..... help!
