Recycling!
Nasty weather is now with us I’m afraid. It’s cold, very windy and wet!
But somehow this is fine....you can get bored by all this sun!
We are told that the good weather is on its way back next week but right now it’s good to relax inside....I’ve caught up with several, sadly neglected jobs around the house this morning.
Today is dustbin day.
And recycling day too I think....
I’ve got a good collection of bottles to go....and at least they won’t blow away....
I’ve just got to pick a good time to be brave enough to venture outside!
I am told that as an old woman I can ask the collectors to come into my garden to pick it all up for me but so far I’ve never failed to get my assorted crushed cardboard containers into a fairly neat pile in the right place by my hedge.
We don’t get a lot of casual walkers on my side of the road but the coastal path is literally on the other side of it. Anyone brave enough to try to follow the well advertised path often come to grief when meeting about ten young bullocks in their way.
The path was very busy this year until the local farmer put the young bulls back.
Somehow they seem to put the hikers off though I’m told they are harmless...mostly...just a bit frisky!
So the walkers are at present walking very close to my house.
When one of the collection boxes rattled as I filled it recently a pleasant young man peered into the box and said..."Looks like you’ve had a good party !"
Oh dear!
