Planning ahead!

Some rather worrying news has appeared this morning...the fact that a hurricane is forecast for the east side of America makes me a little anxious. Because although New York is not included in the warning, it’s not all that far away!
And that’s where we shall be heading this time next week!
Fortunately I know that Cunard would not take us into danger so I expect they would find a way of avoiding it if necessary.
On other cruises we have been rerouted in order to avoid any hint of danger.
I can’t remember another period of such desperately bad weather which keeps us puny humans on our collective toes.
Here at home I haven’t really started to pack properly...too many things are demanding my attention but time is flashing past very fast now...and I have got to get on with it.
Long frocks, glittery tops etc are all still hanging in my wardrobe.
Other small details are also demanding my attention...nothing to do with cruising..but demanding that I answer questions that I really don’t need to just before I go away again.
I am not good at keeping the books...finding old bills , paying new ones, it’s just not convenient at the moment but it all has to be done.
So it’s just as well that I’m not working at the moment.
There too many things demanding my attention just now.
I am therefor tempted to go back to bed, pull the covers over me and slumber through it!
But I can’t! Arghhhh
