World worries.

What a world we are living in.....no one could be bored.....in fact a bit of boredom would go down quite well just now.
Mrs Mays announcement in parliament yesterday was actually shocking. A huge country sending men into another much smaller country with poison to kill someone is very shocking. It may have happened before secretly but this time it is clear for us all to see.
In America we have presidential threats against all and sundry who are working against him. Yesterday I read a report about someone trying to tell the president that his job does not make him into a king. Mr Trump is still answerable to the population for any lapses of the rule of law. But it’s unclear that he is aware of that . "Off with his head." comes to mind.
This is the most dangerous period I can remember. But it’s not dull.
All of this plus our own Brexit problems make for fascinating reading and viewing.
Tucked away here in deepest Cornwall it all feels almost as though we are living through a daft film script, so balmy that no one could guess the denouement.
The fact that quite soon I will be walking the streets of New York again just adds to the weirdness.
This world no longer feels stable. But it is very interesting. I suspect we could all do with a bit of dullness right now but it seems unlikely .
There’s plenty to pray for though.
