End in sight.
We are on the last day of painting here. Everything that will move has been shifted during the week. Today they will put it all back in place....hopefully.
It looks fine...so far and the decorator has done extra jobs, like whitening the ceiling of my glass porch and is putting my fire alarms up this morning with new batteries installed.
Getting up at seven to be dressed and ready at eight has taken its toll this week but so far it’s been worth it....
It will be a relief to get everything back in place but he has been a fairly easy companion this week....and the house is looking good too!
I am tired. As I have the music weekend coming up I really have to try to have some quiet time today and tomorrow.
The news is disquieting today...crime is proliferating across the country. Are we surprised?
Here in Cornwall a couple of years ago the worst that happened was when someone took the money from the poor box in one of the shops one night. I haven’t heard of anything else but then I do live miles from anywhere....
Several friends are turning up today and we are eating together at the local in my old village...hopefully I’ll get some rest before then....
Thankfully another old friend will pick me up and generally be my transport during the weekend..so it’s all good news both inside and out....thank you God.
