Hate crime.

We can not be surprised by the number of people who are led byleaders who hate them.
There are different reasons for that hatred and I regret to say that much of it stems from religious belief.
Mr Trump is leading the way on this one, to cries of "lock her up "
He really can’t be surprised by the refusal by the church elders to allow him to visit the scene of the killing in the synagogue. Because his rhetoric is full of hate and gloating.
In this country we are being told that hate crimes are rising here too.
Attacks on people of a different colour or religion proliferate also .
It is very very sad and against the teaching of all our religions.
In the Ten Commandments as laid down by God thousands of years ago we are asked not to covet our neighbours goods.
Christians and Jews share a common heritage...
Islam also shares some of our Biblical literature.
We all have different ways of worshipping but we still believe that God hears us....one God, not one each for every religion.
One God.
The  very core of many religions is one God. So why are we rubbishing the beliefs of other people who worship in a different way?
Why do we sneer at people who dress in a way that demonstrates their religion?
Why are people prepared to fight or kill .
Sometimes the motive is money not religion...to steal from each other, to acquire more wealth.....is for many the strongest  reason.. ....but that often  is focussed upon those who are different in some way.
Hate is getting louder, especially in the Trump era. If you get up in public and encourage people to hate you are not in a position to then condemn it or go to weep with the bereaved...
The elders of the synagogue denied Trump a visit to the crime scene...seeing him as responsible for the promotion of religious and race anger. But he is not alone in this.
In this shrinking world we really do have to love each other..as He loved us...the words of Christ were never more valid than they are now.
