Crisis!

I am lost. I think much of the country is too. Parliament certainly is.
No deal?
Brexit has a lot to answer for.
How we got to this point is unclear now. Half of the country want to leave Europe. The other half want to stay. All the arguments for and against have been stated so often in the last weeks that I am totally fed up with it all and I suspect the rest of the country is too.
As an exercise in how to destroy a ruling body it couldn’t have been more effective.
Mrs May has finally said she will stand down if her plan is  adopted.
Her plan has become the central issue right now and the reason for several resignations from government.
A general election wouldn’t sort it out either by the looks of it. The country is divided. This won’t go away by getting ready for an election. The last election only made it worse.
The prime ministers decision to suddenly call it is what has started all this and she lost her majority.
The men standing in the wings waiting are just depressing. None of them look like the answer to this problem and indeed many of them are responsible for it.
Going to the country may not help either.
We are in a constitutional crisis. Various dates coming up may or may not be honoured.
I hope all the vigorous campaigners for the various options.are pleased with themselves this morning because we are in a mess. No obvious way through it all looks either likely or possible.
Prayer?
