Dire change?

Like the rest of Britain I sigh when I hear the word Brexit uttered. Over the weekend I have heard many dire warnings.
Brexit high noon is looming.
Our Prime Minister seems determined to achieve her plan and doesn’t hear anyone else’s view if it’s contrary to hers.
I do understand her need to be the saviour of Brexit but at the moment it’s looking more like her funeral.
What she’ll do if she is beaten tomorrow in the vote in the Commons I don’t know.
So far her determination to get her plan through has defeated any attempts at softening it, or getting it accepted by the commons.
If she can’t get our Parliament to accept it then clearly Europe isn’t going to embrace it either.
To describe her as a stubborn woman is positively complimentary. There are much worse terms being used I think.
Once again I miss my deceased brother in law who as a very senior civil servant used to give us the cabinet news during various rows over the years.
We can though pick up enough hints and doubts from all the MPs waiting in the wings to jump in after the crash.
And that’s what worrying both me and the rest of the country now.
Anyone replacing Mrs May looks equally dire. No one comes to mind that would help us out of this mess and in that I include Mr Corbyn.
Neither of our party leaders are convincing enough people to get us out of this mess we find ourselves in.
Tomorrow’s vote in Parliament looks dire.
All that is left for me is prayer...over to you Lord.

I have just seen that yet again Mrs May is in the air....maybe more ways than one. Oh dear!
