Once more into the breach?

Well!
Where do we go from here?
Listening to the news this morning gives us no real clue.
Despite all the emergency flights to Europe Mrs May was thoroughly seen off last night.
Surely she should now be wondering about her position?
Staying in place as PM looks the most likely outcome right now despite her massive defeat last night.
She is determined not to resign that is obvious, because I think she sees herself as the only person able to cope with actually leaving Europe.
However approaching the end of this month some sort of survival plan is clearly needed. Do we exit Europe or try to manage staying in despite all the drama?
If anyone knows, now is the time to speak.
Mrs May has made a massive mistake by making the plan her personal objective.
It’s good that she has such huge faith in her deal but as successive members of her cabinet resigned sooner than support it surely she must rethink the whole thing?
And that I think is the main problem. Her huge belief in herself and her plan has brought her to this point.
This is why she can’t resign.
I think she really thinks disaster would strike without her at the wheel.
It is really very sad. But as the innocent by standers to all of this we hurtle towards the end of the month not knowing what is actually going to happen.
I am worried. I think we must all be a little anxious.
Come on politicians.....it’s time to get some sensible plans in place.
Ones that will make us feel a bit better. Going back to some dull politics looks good right now.
Is that too much to wish for?

The whole thing has been a calamity, building to a disaster of epic proportions.

Those members of parliament who have voted down the deal consistently should be ashamed of their partisan political behaviour. And I hope now that, even at the last moment, commonsense will prevail, although on their current form, there doesn't appear to much around.

I despair of our politicians, only caring about their political survival. Shame on the lot of them.
