After several attempts to blog in what has been my usual way I find it impossible. Blogger as run by google has become extremely difficult....producing the correct passwords and all the rest of the rules now laid down are ruining what for me was a daily pleasure...
I know there are a lot of very dodgy people around but really the number of times I’ve been asked to change my password is incredible.
Just keeping an eye on which one I’m currently using is difficult....it’s been changed far too often in the last day to be confident of anything.
Sorry but I am not confident in my ability to continue....I will try but so far this morning I’ve spent over an hour trying...and it is Sunday...there are far more pressing things needing my attention.
One set of visitors have departed...another are due to arrive during the week. I am far from confident that I can cope with everything that that entails....I think we may be eating out a lot!
At least google can’t interfere with that. Shhh
Going to church got complicated too...maybe God is trying to tell me something...but I may need a password to get it. Arghhhhh

I had to stop blogging as I couldn't get back into my blog after a time away. Have always enjoyed reading yours so will be sorry of you do have to give up but know what you mean about passwords
I do not understand. I have never had an email from Google asking me to change my password. I would be very suspicious if I were you. I have an account which is linked to Blogger, Youtube, Google Drive and an email address. I have another which I use for personal stuff and a 2nd Youtube account. We use Google at work so I have a third. we NEVER get requests to change emails. Occasionally when I log in I get asked if my recovery email and mobile number are correct and I just say it is.
What are these rules you mention? I just log in an type a post on my blog (if I get time) and Bob's your uncle. If you are on a PC use a Password manager such as Keepass and I am sure they exists for iPads but I would not use one which store passwords in the cloud.
I don't understand why google should be demanding changes of passwords so often?
I use Chrome and all my settings are saved, including blogger. One password is all that is needed, and that is saved as I only use one device at a time and if I do change a password, it is saved by chrome to use on other devices.
If I do (rarely) need to change, I use the text option to get a code to reset, this is safer as you control the device the text goes too.
I suspect that this might be connected with apple not saving passwords across devices, and as they are a mortal enemy of google, are making it as difficult as they can for you to access google services>
