I woke up with pain in my hips. This is the second time for this experience. I have not been dancing in my sleep...or anything else for that matter... The last time this happened the pain disappeared once I was up and moving so I’m hoping for a repeat of this soon!
I suppose it’s all part of the aging process but as I’m not exercising whilst I sleep I am at a loss as to how it happens....
Pain is not good to have at any time but usually there is a reason for it...and once you know what causes it then you can take steps to remedy the situation. In this case I can’t find any reason for it ....I go to bed painfree and wake up fine on most mornings....but as this is the second time lately then I must start to take it seriously I suppose!
At least the rain seems to have stopped which means I can walk around my garden later..this usually helps!
Unexplained pain is not something I want to encourage obviously but going to the doctors doesn’t appeal either...if I make an appointment it will be at least a couple of weeks before I get one as I’m not in constant pain....just occasional days here and there...
Sitting up in bed moaning isn’t good either...so it’s time to to start moving...I can do this.. but the news doesn’t help! Do we really need a general election! Even if we do no one seems eager to trust Boris... so how on earth did he get the job? Arghhhh!

Surely you could use the St Lukes Clergy thingie to get a consultation locally, without waiting for a Dr's appointment.
While it might not be serious, it is a warning that something is amiss. Perhaps you are moving awkwardly in your sleep, or perhaps you have some joint issues that need an osteopath to resolve.
Ignoring it won't help. I know that I spend too long pondering on things, before I go to a doctor. Perhaps googling "Unexplained Hip Pain after sleep" might help?
That made me laugh....I doubt it’s anything to worry about really....by now three hours later I have no pain at all....I’m probably just sleeping on it badly! But I appreciate your comments...especially as they made me chuckle! Thank you....
I am glad that I made you chuckle.
I hope that I am able to continue to do so.
