I am sitting up in bed. No pain. It lessened yesterday and this morning has gone....very weird.. ....but I’m not complaining!
Outside has improved too. Yesterday was too scary to go out. But I see several things that will need to be picked up and put back in place today. I have no desire to go to church.....which is strange but true. I turned off the service on the radio after humming the first hymn and I feel no need to try to get my car moving in order to get to a church or chapel. Doing my own thing here has become a habit.
I shall enjoy a quiet few days as I get ready for another influx of friends next week all arriving for the music festival laid on by one of our big hotels.
This yearly event brings a lot of people here after the season has officially closed. The music is first class and the concerts are held in the old Methodist chapel bought and beautifully restored by the Tresanton hotel. Lots of old friends will arrive for that so I will enjoy a quiet weekend this weekend before they start to appear. A quick trip around the house has been very reassuring. My radiators are on! Old readers may remember past struggles with getting the winter heating sorted out but it all, seems to be working....having a warm house is essential in old age!
So today I will make the most of the peace, whilst listening to some music. The first concert next week is a Brahms concerto...bliss!
