Pass words!

I am still getting into trouble with my passwords.  Depending on which device I’m using   I often get asked...and sometimes get it right.   But not always.   I have changed various passwords several times and I now avoid  some sites which always demand one. I put the app which was supposed to cure all this on both of my iPads but I still get into trouble.
Yesterday having an idle Sunday I looked at one of my favourite clothes sites and inevitability got interested in a couple of items for wearing on my next cruise.  So having got them into the final moment for payment I was then asked for my password.   What?   I didn’t know I had one for this site...
I tried three times using old passwords but none of them was right. This made me very cross!  Why on earth were they demanding a password. I had no memory of ever using one before. I tried another couple of times and then gave up. But I did want the lovely warm jumper.  So I used the phone to ring them.  I was able to order easily by using my voice...no password required.
This isn’t going to work with anything else obviously.   Is the world full of people working out how to cheat by using other people’s money ? I suppose it self evidently is.
But I don’t like it....  it’s not my fault that I’m a  silly old woman...  but I do wish I was better at remembering silly things! And I really don’t understand the need for passwords for everything....even when I get it right I still get cross every time I’m asked for it.

Not silly, just like most of us, no memory for passwords, names or even our own sometimes.

But it is getting worse, I try to always use paypal for online stuff, because that is secure, simple to use and doesn't require entry of credit card details, incl the security number.

You never know who is looking?
