What next?

I have an appointment at the doctors this morning.  Apparently my blood pressure was raised last week and although I should be glad that they are taking this seriously I’m just slightly fed up that I have to go again so soon.
Blood pressure has always been a problem for me and indeed the reason why I spent long weeks in hospital before the births of my babies. I admit to being careless with my medication.   Some days I only remember to take the tablets half way through the day...but judging by the number of pills left in the bottle I realise that my forgetfulness may well be the cause of this.
I do need to get it sorted out though before I start packing for the next cruise. My Christmas cruise has been essential over the last years...but this year I have been having some radical thoughts.
The next cruise has been booked and paid for for months but I am wondering now if I really want to do it.  So far I can get no enthusiasm for this trip...thoughts around staying snugly at home on my own visited me during the night.   And are still around this morning. I like my home. It’s warm and comfortable...staying in it and being comfortable  at Christmas  feels better than going off to foreign parts.
I’ve not felt like this before...I’ve always been enthusiastic about sailing around the world.
.  I expect I’ll go....providing my blood pressure problem is resolved...but it wouldn’t be the end of the world if I stayed home...just the end of my globe trotting..... so at my age it might be sensible!  On the other hand I’ve never considered that being sensible was really for me!
So?

Let people believe you are on a cruise, while you hunker down in your nest. Enjoy your online activities and keep us amused with spurious blog posts from fictitious locations. You could even describe your paragliding activities and cliff diving and the odd Cocktail fr the top of a particular high peak, which you climbed alone, with the aid of a compass and protractor and a hired St Bernard.

The world would be aghast at your adventures and have the men in white coats outside your front door on the day of your so-called, planned return.

It would be very, very entertaining
