This trip has been confusing in several different ways....but busy, very busy. Trying to get on with the blog has been much more difficult than usual and I’m never sure that I’ve managed it.....however all is mostly well....we are currently cruising in the Med but it’s name changes daily....maybe I’m just getting old!
Making friends is still very easy..spending time on my own proves difficult at times. But I shouldn’t be either surprised or start complaining.
Right now I think this will be my last cruise....I’m too used to it all...and finding lovely places just reminds me that I have equally beautiful places at home...just waiting... talking to people is still mostly pleasant and I’ve made several pleasant friends...but the voice of the bleep bleep captain coming over the air waves far too often is starting to be irritating.
As we start for home we are still visiting lovely places I’ve not been in before so I’m never bored...but I’m getting too old for constant activity.
Talking to people is still a great pleasure...but next year maybe I’ll try one of the good hotels nearer to home....the Nare looks promising...a beach walk every morning, a swim every afternoon in either the sea or their pool..And only a short drive from home.
And the bloody captain with his whistle would be a long way away!

Well, good to get an update, just before New Year. No mention of Christmas? Perhaps it didn't happen on the cruise?
But perhaps your lack of a travelling companion is putting you off more cruises.
I hope you get home safely and with time and space, decide what the future holds.
