Still scratching!

I stayed home as planned yesterday. This morning my cleaner arrives .......she saw me last week with a bright red face and I’m afraid it mostly still is. The cream does help but the bright red skin still decorates most of my face. And wakes me up every night! I have put myself in purdah most of the time and repelled various visitors but I would be glad to see my cleaner flicking her duster around the house! At least half of her time here is spent nattering with me but I’m not in a nattering mood. This thing...this infection or whatever it is still wakes me every night! Applying soothing cream needs a steady hand, not always easy at three in the morning! Without the radio I would be much worse. They put very interesting programs on at night..I had no idea there was such variety..but I am often trying very hard not to scratch whilst I listen! I remember knitting mittens for my babies to be tied on to stop them scratching measles and chicken pox. It’s not working for me! This has been going on for far too long..and I still have no idea what is causing it. Our new doctor seems very pleasant so far! But this could be a test...for us both! Given that he says I’m not infectious I wonder how he would feel about my dreadful face sitting in his waiting room! I can drive ...this could be the morning to test it! arghhh! Or words to that extent!
