Easter Day.
Alleluia! He is risen.
Those words spoken to everyone I met on Easter Sunday are now a very stark reminder that we are in a whole new world. I have celebrated Easter, not just in church but where ever I happened to be. Sometimes I was on board a ship , often in a strange land after I had been ordained. . Today, I am at home, not going out so I will remember other Easter’s spent with loved ones, but always in church at some point. God got me early....I knew Christ had risen when I was a little girl living with my grandparents during the war. Most Easter days were full of people. Huge congregations filled the churches...lots of hugs as well as shaking hands were all part of the Easter joy. Today it is different. There is still joy, how could there not be! But joy alone is not the same obviously. As I walk my garden today I may well be singing as I go...providing I can lift the gloom. so many good things are happening for me as well as the rest of the world. Kind friends have made sure I have enough to eat...and that I don’t feel cut off from the joy. So I am doing my best....Alleluia!

Alleluia He is risen indeed Happy Easter Jean
Jesus Christ is Risen, he has risen indeed. The message for today, in a world full of fear, anxiety and a virus, that can affect us all and end the risen life with have in Christ.
Praying for Easter to be in peoples lives in whatever situation they are in, and that the Peace of Christ is with and abides in them for evermore.
Our Risen Lord's every blessing on you!
And on you too.
