On we go.

This morning I thought I was due a delivery. That was all I thought. I couldn’t remember anything else at all. So I’ve spent quite a lot of time searching through various posts and yes I do indeed have a delivery...from the vegetarian site which has proved very valuable since alL this started. I have to reluctantly admit that I have added some bacon occasionally to these ready made dishes...I haven’t gone completely veggie. During the last days and evenings I have had phone calls from people I have not been in touch with for years! We are all touching base with each other in a very sweet way. Last night it was a man I met on a cruise years ago. I was quite surprised that he’d still got my number! Talking to old friends is very interesting during this weird period. Some of them are suggesting visits but so far I’ve managed to put them off with the news that I have no secret food supplies. Or alcohol either though my stock of booze is still looking healthy...every so often I open the cupboard door where the bottles are kept to reassure myself that I’m in no danger of running out...this pleases me more than I would ever have believed at the start of all this. It doesn’t feel much like a weekend ...No church, no Sunday roasts....nothing that feels normal. But on we go.. We can do this...I think....
