The virus!
Following a couple of conversations I have had a strange thought. Explaining during a phone conversation why I was not booking another cruise I found myself searching this blog. I went back to the time I was away over Christmas. The cruise had crossed the Atlantic and gone on to the Caribbean. During the four weeks away I had been unwell and the symptoms persisted for a couple of weeks after I got home. I drew the conclusion yesterday that I may have had this virus. I certainly had many of the symptoms and felt unwell for weeks after getting home. During that period I didnt go out and had few visitors at home. Looking back now and reading the blog I realise that I may well have had it. As I’m not going out at all now there is no point in being tested..But it would be interesting to find out if other people on that cruise experienced the same symptoms. What ever...I am fine here on my own. And it’s probably good that I am because I am content. . It’s a strange world out there...but the sun shines and it’s becoming Spring daily..there’s still a lot to be thankful for...and I am.

Stay safe stay well Jean.
You clearly had "something" unpleasant while on your cruise but I honestly doubt it was Covid19.
The important thing is that you tecovered and are still with us.
Distant best wishes from Nottingham.
If you had the virus, and recovered, your blood platelets might be helpful for the trial being conducted using them to help those with the virus. To do that, you would have to be tested than donate blood. There was an item on the BBC Breakfast program this morning?
But, given when you were away, it is quite likely you caught an infection of some sort, whether it was the virus, only a test would show. But perhaps your intention to remain in self isolation might be the best course for you.
As Bob has said, keep safe. And prayers continue for your health and well being.
