Freedom?
So we can go shopping again today! Is lockdown over? I’m not sure. No actual statement as to what we can or can not do has been made...or if it has I’ve missed it. As I don’t go shopping anyway this doesn’t affect me...but I wait to see if my cleaner will turn up. I haven’t seen her for months now...and I’ve reached the conclusion that I don’t really need her...but if she turns up we can have a good natter...It’s all very confusing just now...and I wish we now had someone in charge that I trust. This may be very mean of me but I really don’t trust Boris. Yesterday he went back to what he does best. He wrote a piece for the news paper which used to employ him. He is obviously getting help during this period but as much of the help may well be coming from the man who broke all his own rules and got away with it I don’t feel very reassured that Boris can deal with this situation well.
But as of today we can go shopping! If we have another wave of illness no doubt it will all be rescinded. Oh dear. I have no real feeling of relief thst we seem to be coming out of it all. .... thats not how it feels at all..so today I will greet my cleaner gladly from several feet away...if she turns up! Otherwise I will just get on with life alone....which is fine...the phone bill is going to be scary but talking to my friends is the best way through all this. I can shop on line. That has been my preferred way since I chose to live miles from civilisation in the shape of shops. There is nothing thst I need that I have to go to a shop for. So on we go....locked or not...

Here in Scotland non essential shops still closed. I think it's the right decision.
Our First Minister has dealt with this whole situation well. Much more competent than Boris.
