Itching!

I haven’t slept well. The main reason for this is that my eye brows itch. Daft? Yes but I have no idea what if anything I can do about it. This problem started a few weeks ago and I can often deal with it and go back to sleep but last night I was stuck with it. I rub them when it gets too bad...but I am aware that this only makes it worse. I have cream to rub into them but sometimes this doesn’t deal with a really ferocious itch. In the middle of the night everything looks wrong. That’s probably because everything is wrong...we are all learning to deal with it so really living alone with itchy eyebrows is not the end of the world and at least I’m not keeping anyone else awake when I’m sitting up in bed rubbing...and applying balm. Amongst all the other ailments that can strike the unwary an itch is really quite mild.....but not if it keeps me awake! I could just sleep during the day..but that’s not a good idea apart from the odd forty winks. This pandemic is having some odd effects.. as the only two people I’ve seen in the last month are my cleaner and my gardener I feel fairly safe here on my own. And this morning is one of those great days when food is due to arrive. And not just any old food....a box of food from Marks and Spencer will make life very good for a few days...the crate of wine will arrive next week. So really I’m not complaining, being on my own in this beautiful place with enough to eat and drink is just fine...I am aware how lucky I am...I just wish that my itchy eyebrows would afford me some sleep at night!
