New try
Having tried various ways to get the blog up and running this one appears promising...so far.... none of my usual ways work so this afternoon I have just messed abut trying to find out what happened....its been very interesting. I have found stuff going back years....far too many of them.....but I seem unable to do what Ive always done. I have no idea if blogger has changed something or its just me in my dotage., but at least this one looks familiar. Outside the sun is hot....the road is busy and I am trying not to feel glad that so many people will be going home soon...the holiday is almost over.... after another few days we shall be back to almost normal. I have avoided taking the car out so far ....everyone tells me its dangerous out there...and I believe them ... all the people who used to go abroad have come here instead or so I am told! You can have too much peace and quiet though...and I need a laugh...so I might get one if I succeed in posting this. fingers crossed!

Whatever you did, it worked.
I am puzzled about why you are having difficulties. While I don't post often on my own blog, I go to the blogger home page, create a post and just click publish and it is upthere.
Perhaps it is because I have resisted all changes to my blogger interface, although now, when I go to my blog list and click on your blog, I am taken to a different page, where I have to agree that I really do want to go to your blog.
But, so far so good, I haven't experienced your difficulties. I hope you are able to find a way of doing it quickly and easy.
I could tell by your words that you will be glad when the rush of visitors dies down a little. I know what living like a busy road means, our street is a main north south route and we were used to, in normal times, a rush hour twice a day. Since the lockdown it has reduced to a trickle with a care every few minutes instead of nose to tail and turning out of our garage onto the road is much easier. Whether it is because people are choosing not to travel or have found alternative ways to get to and from work, I don't really know, just grateful for the reduction in traffic.
