Forgot my case! ,

I left my large case behind me when I came home last week. I actually only realised yesterday. The smaller case now sits in my spare room waiting to be emptied. But getting the very big one home may be more complicated... What it has brought home to me is that I am now too old to be adventurous. Asking for help is something I have to do regularly and this does not sit well with me. It is pouring down this morning..not a good time to go anywhere... None of the news sounds good just now...especially the Trump news... And our own threat of another lockdown coming over the air waves is very worrying...but I can do this...once I get my big case home and unpacked! Oh dear!

OK...this is hard for me to write but I was ...am wrong about my suitcase. I haven’t lost it because it never went. This seems to be the position. I am finding difficult to accept. But people I trust are saying it so I am clearly wrong. Old age seems to have sent me gaga! Oh hell!

A mistake anyone could make. I often forget, even important things. Even down to taking a mask when I go out. I arrive where I have gone and search for the mask I need and can't find it. So, turn round and go home to collect it, and than realised it was in my inside pocket all of the time, I just forgot where I put it or left it last time.

I have now taken to keeping several masks in one of the two cars I drive to ensure that my brain doesn't have to worry about it.
