Away from all this!

Well my bag is packed...mostly. A very kind friend is coming to drive me to my hotel. But as yet I am not feeling excited. Hopefully once I am on my way I will feel better. I have spent most of the last few weeks completly alone and Ive got used to it now. People on the radio are talking about Christmas..arghhhh! This was why I always went on a cruise at Christmas. I know that people would invite me to eat with them but I would then feel even more alone. ...which is why another stay in a hotel is already booked. So today is a sort of test. I have packed several masks...I am expecting we will all be taking precautions. I have never spent a night in this hotel but have eaten there frequently. So we will see! Apprehension is the best word for how I am feeling now. Its very dark outside and a gentle breeze is blowing the tree visible from here. I am taking deep breaths .... I can do this! Hopefully I might also enjoy it. I have no idea if I will be able to blog so dont worry if nothing appears... I will try but I am going to be a long way from anywhere... which is the whole idea! Being alone in a beautiful hotel is my choice... and I can do this.......
