Shopping!

I went out again yesterday. I realised early that the big shop I was expecting was not due to arrive till the weekend. A search through my food didnt take long...it was frozen or dried...I had obviously been very careless so once again I got into my car and drove to the coop in the village. Wearing my mask I wizzed round the shelves very quickly and brought home enough fresh food to last till the next delivery is due. I was almost alone in the shop. But it felt good to fill my trolley with enough food to last till the weekend. And then I drove home feeling very pleased with myself.....a simple thing like driving into the village for food was very satisfying. This strange life we are all living through is actually very weird..and following the presidential race going on in America is even more strange. Normal behaviour is getting really odd. Even worse is that the word Brexit keeps echoing through the news! Help! Do we really have to face another set of changing rules? Have we not had enough for the time being? Having a vaccine has become the main item in the news but as yet we have not got one. Living alone seems the safest thing..so on we go...with luck!

Good afternoon Jean.
Hooray for local Co-ops! The one in the next village to mine is excellent and the staff try really hard to make us feel safe.
It must have felt great to actually go out to do your own shopping like that 😊
Keep safe.

Well done Jean. I’m out this morning for a click and collect. I couldn’t get a delivery this week. People panic buying I expect
