A Conversation!

Well I am up, dressed and ready...but I am not sure what for! Monday morning is when my cleaner arrives. But not always. And this time its very dubious. She lost her husband a few weeks ago and I have no idea if she wants to carry on. I would miss her if she quit. Her main gift is the conversation which is wide ranging and interesting every week. We laugh a lot and laughter is missing most of the time from my life right now. So up I got, dressed and am ready in hopeful anticipation. I have checked my larder and fridge and I do need to shop soon but the good news I was given yesterday is that my local coop delivers. So this is something to sort out. My life is slowly but inevitably changing. I can no longer do all the things I once found easy. I could keep my house clean if I have to...with no dog and no bloke it would be easy to look after myself but its the human contact, the conversation, the laughter and the easy companionship that I would miss. So I am up, dressed and ready . Hopefully she will turn up ...we have several topics of conversation to address if and when she does. So fingers and everything else crossed! But if the phone rings I will know the worst...that shes not coming! OK I will drink my coffe, listen to the news and wait and see. It will all be Ok anyway I know but I am ready for a good conversation!
