Not Boris!
I feel mean writing this...specially after todays blog is already up and running but having read the headlines and some of the articles in todays papers I feel bound to ask a question. Why on earth have we got Boris in charge of both this country and the talks with Europe to get us out of our present mess? Why? Ok he is PM just now but to see him having dinner with an attractive woman as part of our present situation gives me no feeling that help is on its way! In fact the opposite is true! Come on Conservatives...do something...thete must be people who could conduct a reasonable dialogue with our European friends surely? Todays picture of our deeply flawed PM conducting essential talks with an attractive female just made everything worse!

It is quite obvious that Boris who from the outset was all for Brexit and has based his political life around it, taking a hard line for fear of the Farage and UKIP factor, taking away Tory votes.
He has got his way, but now having to face the consequences of his bluster, bullying and plain lies. He is going to take us out into the wide world, at the mercy of trade rules that fluctuate and actually encourage countries to compete in putting taxes on imports, while actively discouraging others from doing it to them.
We have some Rocky days ahead, as well as the pandemic to cope with. Off course, it is his bloddy minded rhetoric which is now biting him (and us) in the butt.
