No church.

It takes an effort to remember that today is Sunday... it certainly doesnt feel like it. People are expecting that I will be vaccinated soon but as yet there has been no indication that this is so. The number of cases found in Cornwall has risen of late but we are still not being targetted for vaccination. As I am over eighty various friends are telling me to be ready! For me the main fact is that over the last weeks I havnt seen anyone apart from my cleaner and gardener and they are not sick. The only people I know who have had the jab are up country. I expect it will get here soon. I am keeping my car running so that I should be able to go when I am called. Survival for me doesnt feel important...but I would rather not die just yet if I can help it. Life cut off from normal activity isnt bad. I have food and drink. I walk my large garden several times a day and occasional phone calls keep me up to date with friends. Life is still fine...even though the hymns coming from my radio are not tempting me to join in.... my only problem today is whether to wash my hair in the shower or not. So be it. But once again no church on a Sunday is becoming the norm. Oh dear!
