Survival!

OK it wasnt a dream I have checked. I really do have a full fridge. On waking this morning I thought last night might have been an over optimitic dream. My grocery order arrived very late at night and much of it has not been put safely away. The food for the fridge though is safe. By the time it had got to well after ten oclock I rang the store to be told that it was on its way. This was around ten thirty. By eleven it finally arrived. So going downstairs this morning to check was essential. But all is well. I can survive for another couple of weeks or longer even. This morning I have another delivery due...I really have been busy. So later I will hopefully take delivery of some scotch...Once I get those bottles put safely away I will relax. I dont think I have become dependent on alcohol but late at night it is very comforting to sip a drop of the hard stuff. So OK I can survive for a few weeks now. During those weeks I will need to order more stuff. What a strange time we sre living through. My main job this morning will be to start my car. I am not going anywhere but to leave my engine running for a few minutes means I can stop worrying about being marooned here on my own. This strange world we are all now living through is I think over emphasised by my living alone in a very quiet spot. So be it...it also has very many compensations. Not least seeing the ships in the harbour across the sea in Falmouth. So on I go! Hopefully!
