Fed Up!

I have had my early morning stroll around the garden! Its not cold...if the sun came out it would be idyllic! But its not. The builders arrived early. All is well. In Cornwall we have not been as affected by the virus as the rest of the country but mutterings are being heard that its on its way! We are all preparing for the influx of visitors who will arrive when they are able. Some of those visitors will be friends and I shall be very glad to see a friendly face after all this isolation. I am fed up! ....that much should be obvious! But as theres nothing I can do about it I just have to get on with the smaller details of life. The cock was crowing as I did my circuit of the garden this morning. He is in good voice! The children are back in school so its very quiet....apart from the blokes here! I intend to stay out of their way as much as possible! Inside the house its quiet, warm and almost civilised! The sound of a crowing cock is very welcome...It makes me feel less cut off from human life. The sofa in my office has never been so welcome. I can blog in comfort! So another day has begun...sort of!
