Oh Dear!

Another day....another load of blokes! One of them is my gardener who looked very surprised to find four other chaps on site! I am getting used to all these chaps who seem to spend alot of time in my barn. I am honestly fed up with it all now! But I suppose it needs to be done! Eventually! I am not well again. I got up with a bright red face again...I have no idea why. At some point I need to see the doctor I suppose... Just now getting through the day intact will do! They have been here far too long now for a simple job. I think they like it here! But it has rained this morning which cant do my wall much good. I really dont know what to make of it all. No one seems to be actually working apart from my gardener who is sheltering in the shed. I must ask him to hang on to his key! I dont need any extra blokes sheltering from the rain next week! Honestly the whole week has been chaos and nothing seems to be getting done! I must try to look stern ! I am aware that its all my fault! No one should feel obliged to point that out! Oh dear! Oh hell!

I really do not see why this is all your fault, this surely should be an insurance job ?. As for you not feeling well, I can quite understand why, with the amount of stress oh seem to be under, bless
you. I think a Doctors visit is calling !! At our age, we do not want
all this. I have a very similar problem with my bottom wall, which is leaning and has an eight foot drop the other side. Take care and I would suggest that you get some help and advice on this.

No way is this all your thought. Are you a building surveyor? Do you own a Christal ball. You couldn't have predicted the damage to the house, nor more than the scientists could have predicted the pandemic we are living through.

Prayers for your red face, peace of mind and stability. We need you to keep blogging, at least it is a constant in your life and ourse.

I’m afraid I find your blog very confusing. Clearly others are just as confused as they are offering you advice regarding insurance claim for your “damaged” wall, yet reading back you haven’t said what caused the “damage”.

I think I explained some time ago that the damage was caused by old age...to get insurance cover there has to be a cause. My house is just very very old...crumbling in places!
