Back to normal!

Those of you who told me that getting everything back to normal is not going to be easy have been proved right. Nothing outside has changed at all despite my intentions. However there are compensations for not having blokes working everywhere. I had a lovely quiet stroll around the garden this morning only accompanied by the cocks crow! Trying to feel normal is proving diffcult though. I find I am waiting for something else to go wrong. Almost expecting disaster is foreign to my normal outlook on life. .... but it is where I am just now. The habit of getting up by half past seven is new to me but its proving hard to ditch. I blame all this sunlight! It feels strange in the very early morning to find the suns up and shining! I have checked my fridge...no need to shop! Theres enough food but something to drink would go down quite well. Alcohol? Well probably but over coming the slight embarrassment might be difficult. Ordering large quantities of Scotch doesnt sit well with me but I think I can live with it! So on we go...getting back to normal starts now!

Good morning Jean. I’m an early riser and love these bright fresh Spring mornings. Very often the best bit of the day and my early dog walk is always good thinking time. Maybe a cockerel walk will serve the same function! 😊😊
I don’t think I know what normal is anymore. We are all having to adjust to life in a strange way, although I appreciate your building work has been extremely abnormal. I hope some semblance of normality will return to you.
Take care

We are now at the end with our builder. The final payment has been made. But, he is with us still as his tools and ladders are piled neatly into the garden.

Hopefully he will be able to collect them at the weekend, as he is off to a new job. If they remain long, I might consider charging him storage.

I hope that your situation evens out soon. And prayers continue for your well being.
