Fortunate!

Its another lovely day! I have walked round the garden several times with real joy at what is coming up. Its warm outsde...the sun shines and its still quiet.... though I hear quite alot of cars going past. Apparently a cliff top cinema is being planned to get some night life going. Its hard to imagine anyone going to sit in a car to watch a film but right now anything seems possible. As I walked this morning the sound of cocks crowing followed me round the garden. Last week I thought it was just one cock. Now I have seen several...all highly coloured and very vocal. So be it. I have yet to see any females... but they could be there somewhere...perhaps a bit shy! I have checked my fridge and I have still got quite a lot of food. I am not eating well just now. On the other hand I have quite a lot of empty bottles to put out tonight for the collection first thing on Monday morning! But I am being very careful ...the last thing I need now is to become a drunk! So I limit myself most nights...unless the television is particularly dreary. Its a strange life I am living..along with lots of other people I imagine. But thank goodness for the television. At least it keeps me up go date with the rest of the world! And then I realise again how fortunate I am. I think.

You sound quite peaceful today, perhaps it's because it is Sunday and there are no people working there?

It is strange that those Cockerels are appearing without any indication where they are from, but obviously "Free Range" if nothing else.

I am still praying for your welfare as all that is going on is obviously affecting your way of life. Hoping for better things on the horizon.

Good afternoon Jean. I hope the day has continued in its tranquil way.
There’s a real promise of Spring and new growth isn’t there.
I had lunch in my garden watching many blue tits feeding from the bird feeder. There was also a robin and a thrush either on the feeder or searching in the grass for insects. I’m hoping all the activity means there are plenty of nests and babies!
Take care
