Better!

I am feeling very much better today thank goodness. The reason for this is simple....I spent much of yesterday with a very old friend...someone I have known for at least 50 years. His wife was my best friend. He lives up country but has a second home here. Thank goodness for someone who knows me well enough to tell me I was being silly over several things. So on we go....He goes back up country today but will be back in due course. I go on but not quite as alone as I felt yesterday. Someone came out to look at my television and I now have a new thing whilst the old one has been put out in the barn. When I got up before eight oclock my first action was to go and turn the new one on. It seems to work very well ...so far...my old one now seems very old and definately redundant. . Altogether yesterday was a much more positive day than I was expecting...I will try to keep this up though spending such a lot of time on my own makes this difficult. I realised yesterday how much I am changing as I get older. But I suppose thats inevitable too.... and some changes may well be for the better. I hope so!
