Radio news!
Once again I aplogise if this is getting boring. The most exciting thing that has happened this morning is that I am not sitting in my office. I am writing in the dining room so that I can hear the morning program on BBC radio 4. Yesterday I managed to lose my favorite station by fiddling too often with the small radio which normally brings me some interesting programs through the day. All I can get this morning in my office is radio Cornwall..... its fine...just not the news program I have got used to! I have become a creature of habit in my old age I am afraid. I am not expecting much to happen just now though friends will appear at the end of the week. But so far the presumption from one or two of them is that I must be lonely living in solitary state deep in rural Cornwall. In fact I am not. I do have neighbours...people call in fairly frequently either by phone or in person. I am not yearning to see people....I dont feel neglected! I am not using the phone all that often..Life is very interesting..and there is nothing that I am yearning for. I will be glad to see old friends by the end of the week. But till then I will try to get rid of radio Cornwall from my office radio. Who knows what I might discover in the process!

Good evening Jean. I wonder what radio discoveries you have made!
Hope you have enjoyed your day and are continuing to appreciate the peace of your beautiful area of Cornwall.
Cold and wet again here but the garden has been graced by the presence of a roe deer today ! 😊
I hope that you are able to retune your radio to the stations you want to hear. It sounds like on of those new digital radios which don't have a waveband marked on them and a button to change wave lengths. Tuning is pot lock on them.
I am glad you are content with your lot. And I hope the visit from friends later this week goes well and doesn't over load you.
