VIPs here!

Well....I shouldnt miss much! Except that opening sentence assumes I am always on the look out and actually I am not. From my bedroom I do have an excellent view of the sea between my bit of Cornwall and the bit where all the important people are staying. Once I get dressed and come downstairs I can only see the sea beyond my garden if I look over the hedge on the other side of the road! So no, I wont be rushing out to see Boris or anyone else...If curiosity sets in I can always go back upstairs to see if there is any drama! But that is unlikely..... even to see the well known visitors currently arriving, so I am told...I can find out much more by reading the news on my ipad...but to be honest I am not yearning to see all these famous people who are supposed to be arriving...the chances are I wouldnt recognise them anyway. From what I have learned so far I am better off keeping my head down..and listening to the radio which is my usual way of finding out whats happening! But it is interesting that such an odd group of people are making for Cornwall. The hotel is a good one...I have had a couple of nights there in the past....so they should all be OK and well looked after! I dont know how long they will be here...but hopefully not long. and then we can all go back to being normally boring! But I do hope the VIPs have a good stay..they might want to come back at some time!
