Pass on!
Well.....nothing new I am afraid...so its back to an old moan! The number of times I am asked for my passcode grows daily. And I still get it wrong sometimes! If I am in my own home, using my old Ipad it is clearly me...and yet day by day, hour by hour almost I am asked to prove it! Mostly the right word inserts itself...I dont have to think about it but there lies the trap. If I chose to do something different then up it comes...insert your passcode here! The very words mean confusion. Obviously when all this started I should have stuck to just one word..but over the years other words have been demanded which I then promptly forgot. I do have a scruffy bit of paper hanging around with various scribbles on it ..and sometimes this works....but not always. So I am learning to avoid those demanding words dredged up from the past! i know its not just me...other people have also complained so that yet more people kindly explain that its for our own good! arghhhhh!
If you are one of these clearly kind people please dont! Allow me to grumble in peace...its my only way of fighting back!

Try using key chain it comes up on you I pad for remembering passwords.
The people who seem to demand your password at every turn seem to me to be protective of themselves, not actually in your interests. You have paid good money to use their devices and the services they provide, but they seem to believe that they can deny you the use of them at a whim.
I for instance to get into my Microsoft Outlook account have to use a security app on my mobile confirm to the laptop that I am actually ME, otherwise I have to go through two step authentication, which is my nightmare. If I lose my phone, I will be stuck.
Some devices are content with a four figure pin, others need a six figure one, making life more difficult, but manageable. But when they decide that it was time you changed things, there is no way of putting it off.
I am sure they all belong to the "Awkward" squad and take us all for fools. I hope that you are able to get some system worked out. I have a notebook hidden away, which has the latest password, and date and time changed. A separate page for each device. It works quite well, as long as I remember to keep it upto date. But if I'm out and about and passwords issues arise, I have a virtual brick until I can get home to sort it out.
